Castor's Ordeal: Book 1

Ten-year-old Castor tries hard to provide for and protect his family. When the harsh realities of war burst into his tiny village tucked deep within the Carpathian Mountains in central Dacia, Castor is unsure how to cope. Enslaved and forced on a long, arduous march to the coastal town of Tomis, Castor attempts to keep his family and friends safe. After all, that is what an Apuli man does – protect those under your care at all costs even if it means risking your own life.

Castor's New Life: Book 2

Living in the coastal city of Tomis, far from his Dacian mountain home, Castor is surrounded by people that were once his enemy. While being forced to live apart from friends and family, he is told he must learn to be Roman. Struggling to adapt, he is unsure whether or not he likes his new life, but what choice does he have?

Castor's Strife: Book 3

Returning from Rome, the family moves to the newly established capital in central Dacia. Castor looks forward to moving back to the mountains near his village, but Sarmizegetusa doesn’t feel like home with so many Roman soldiers settling in the area. Nonetheless, he’s determined to make the most of it while he awaits his father's return. Unfortunately, his grandfather seems equally determined to make his life miserable.

Castor's Plan: Book 4

Darius takes charge of Castor's training and procures him a spot with one of the province's best trainers, a position that can only be held with diligence and dedication. Despite Darius's desire for his nephew to achieve military prowess at an early age, Castor views his training as a means of pursuing a very different objective. An endeavor that can only be achieved if he can figure out how to proceed forward despite his uncle and stepfather holding him back.

Castor's Journey: Book 5

Castor – left in Tomis while his parents and uncle returned to Sarmizegetusa – is ready to begin his journey to find his father. With Hector and Brahn in tow, Castor travels to Rome to begin his search where he last saw Genaro. From gladiatorial schools, street gangs, and the Emperor’s mansion, Castor’s search takes him throughout Rome and beyond. Despite disappointments and hardships, Castor's obsession drives him to find his true father. But at what cost?

Castor's Fate: Book 6

Castor returns home hoping to be with his family, yet fully expecting his Uncle Darius to maintain control of his training. What he doesn’t expect is for his uncle to keep him away from his family by enrolling him in a military program for potential young officers. Despite being dismayed about being forced into a career path he isn’t sure he wants, Castor enters the sponsorship with a few personal goals, one of which is to make a concerted effort to build his network of friends and contacts. He knows the officers he’ll train under won’t make life easy for him. However, he decides to make the most of the situation and see where it leads him.
