His Father's Son

Twelve-year-old Prince Robert is King Philip’s greatest challenge. Philip finds running a country easy compared to dealing with his fifth-born child’s mischievous nature. Punishments are swift, but they do little to curb the boy’s behavior. Philip knows his noblemen despise Robert. Yet, the common people seem to adore him. Why is that? In desperate need of a respite from his son's antics, Philip makes a decision that unknowingly sets in motion a tyrannical lesser king’s hidden agenda that will forever change all their lives.

The Rightful Heir

Since becoming the crown prince, Robert’s life has been a whirlwind of changes. A new wife, a new schedule, and new challenges involving more studying, more responsibility, more stress, more confrontations, and more seizures. All Robert wants more of is: personal freedom and the opportunity to improve the life of his countrymen. To accomplish either, he will have to hold strong to his sovereignty and prove to himself and others that he is the rightful heir.
