Roping Through the Storm
Zac Morgan had begun roping cattle when he was just four years old. His grandfather, Harvey Morgan, had taught him everything he knew, and after the old man’s death, Zac carried on the legacy, training horses and roping in competitions. But that was a year ago. Now, everything had changed.
He still roped, but it was an escape more than a pursuit. It was an escape from the nightmares, the sharp, metallic smell of blood, the sound of the gunshot . . . everything that had ended his happy life. Now, as Zac struggled with school, his family, and life in general, he felt his grip on reality slipping.
And it was all his fault.
